Boys and Girls Club Organizations across Indiana, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Marshall County, are honoring and recognizing Children’s Mental Health Awareness Month in May.
In recognition, in a first-ever statewide event, clubs across Indiana are anticipating to plant over 120 trees in one day as a symbol of creating a brighter, sustainable future.
Locally, planting will take place May 9 at 4 p.m. ET at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Marshall County at 314 E. Jefferson Street in Plymouth. Club members and mentors will plant four trees along the Greenway Trail just west of the Club building, with the help of the Plymouth Parks Department.
Club officials are inviting the public to witness the planting as they invest in a brighter future for Indiana’s youth, leaving behind a legacy of beautiful trees.
