The Argos Town Council members discussed an agreement with Chuck DeWitt and the Town of Argos when they last met in April.
DeWitt oversees zoning and code enforcement for the town. In late 2023, the town council voted to terminate the agreement, but approved a new agreement in January for 90 days.
During the last meeting, the council voted to give DeWitt a part-time contractor position for a few hours a week.
In other news, the council approved the town’s restricted opioid settlement funds to Marshall County HOPE which was around $5,000.
Additionally, the council appointed Councilman Ed Barcus as the town’s representative on the ONE Marshall County organization.
