The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members received an update on the Hoham Drive project when they met Tuesday, April 16.
City Attorney Jeff Houin said more progress should be seen now that a gas line issue was remedied. He said NIPSCO’s subcontractor installed a gas line in the wrong location. The elevation mistake was fixed and now Milestone Contractors North can move along with the installation of water mains, which will be done in sections to ensure property owners have no water service disruptions, the installation of storm sewer infrastructure, curbs and gutters, sidewalk work, and milling and paving.
The project is anticipated to be complete by Labor Day weekend.
