Marshall County Highway Department Superintendent Jason Peters updated the Marshall County Commissioners Monday morning about the county’s Community Crossings Matching Grant Program application.
Peters said the county was awarded the maximum $1.5 million for paving work on portions of Nataka Trail, Lawrence Lake Drive, Olive Lane, Easy Street, Elm, Rose, Main, Deer Trail, Golfview, and 9C.
He noted that the projects the county is planning with Community Crossings and additonal paving projects total over $2 million so the county’s match for all projects is $500,000.
The projects will be advertised for bids April 22 and the commissioners will open bids during their meeting Monday, May 6.
