The Culver Town Council members discussed an economic agreement with Culver Investment Corp when they met March 28.
According to Town Manager Kevin Danti, the Council was provided an Affidavit for the notice of Developer Fault for the real estate formerly referred to as the Culver Meadows Estate at State Road 10 and State Road 17 and other property on State Road 17. The town originally annexed this property in 2018 and entered into an economic agreement with Culver Investment Corp.
This agreement established conditional annexation of the property, approximately located at the intersection of State Roads 10 and 17, on the condition the developer would assume the responsibilities for all municipal infrastructure as established in a resolution approved in 2018 (Resolution 2018-006).
Danti said the developer failed to develop Culver Meadows in accordance with the resolution. Given this failure the Town of Culver does not have responsibility or obligation to provide infrastructure to the proposed property as a result of the developers default of the Economic Agreement established within the resolution.
The council approved the affidavit with a unanimous vote.
