Car Crashes into Goodwill Store in Plymouth

A few injuries were reported in an accident that occurred Wednesday, April 10 at 10:41 a.m. ET when a vehicle drove through the Goodwill store in Plymouth.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, the driver of a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee was pulling into a parking space and thought the brake pedal was being applied, when it was actually the gas pedal. As a result, the vehicle drove through the front door area of the west end training office area, according to the report.

Police say there were about eight individuals in the office at the time of the accident. One person was transported to the hospital by Plymouth paramedics and several others had minor injuries. They were treated and released at the scene.

After Ancon Construction officials assessed the structure of the building for safety, the vehicle was towed from the scene.
