Argos Community School Board Approves Gift Cards for Service Celebration

The Argos Community School Board approved a worthy purchase of gift cards during their meeting Monday, April 15, according to Superintendent Ned Speicher.

Speicher stated, “The board approved the purchase of gift cards for employees for celebration of service to the school district – our 10 year people, our 15 year people, our 20 year people – to present them accomplishment gift cards at the end of the year. That celebration of service will be May 2 at 3:15 p.m. ET for these employees.”

Speicher also told the school board this week that open enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is underway and the second and third grade students completed the IREAD test. Many students were successful in passing the test, but those who may need to retake the test will be attending summer school for additional instruction.
