Plymouth Man Arrested on Public Intoxication Charge

A Plymouth man was arrested Friday, March 1 after Plymouth Police Department officers were called to the Red Rock Inn at 12:20 a.m. ET for an unknown incident involving a knife.

Police say officers talked to 41-year-old Alonso Rivera-Jiminez who said a woman pulled a knife out and pointed it at him. After officers talked with witnesses, it was reported that Rivera-Jimenez made threatening statements and was trying to fight other residents at the facility, according to the report.

Rivera-Jimenez was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of public intoxication.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
