Plymouth Man Arrested on Domestic Battery, Resisting Law Enforcement Charges

A Plymouth man was arrested Wednesday, March 6 after Plymouth Police Department officers responded to Webster Elementary School for a report of a domestic battery in progress.

Police say a witness stated that he saw a man choke a woman and throw her on the ground. The man reportedly fled the scene when officers arrived at the scene. Officers pursued the man on foot and apprehended the suspect just north of Pennsylvania Avenue.

As a result, 24-year-old Christopher Lloyd was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail. He faces preliminary charges of domestic battery and resisting law enforcement.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
