Marshall County Buildings and Grounds Director Doug Masterson has requested to step down from the director’s position in order to have more time with family.
The request was brought up during the Marshall County Commissioners’ meeting Monday, March 18. As part of the discussion, Commission President Stan Klotz explained that it was the hope of Masterson to simply switch positions with Billy Schoff in the department where Schoff would take over as director. Masterson would still work in the department and will do some training with Schoff to assist him in the new role.
The commissioners approved the request as presented. The switch became effective as soon as the approval was made by the commissioners.
