Culver Town Council to Meet Tonight

The Culver Town Council members will meet tonight where they will hear from Brain Carver from the Culver Youth Organization. The council will also award a trash contract.

The new agenda format will be explained concerning the time for public concern, and utility and ordinance violation appeals, and public dialogue. During public concern, those attending the meeting will be asked to sign in prior to the meeting and the council will call each member to speak based on the sign in sheet. Comments will be under three minutes each.

Under public dialogue, the council will open discussions with the public where the topics will be determined prior to the meeting and will be placed on the agenda for the public and the council can prepare prior to the meeting. These conversations will be within an open format monitored by the council president.

The agenda related to guest speakers and public concern, and public dialogue will be moved to the top of the meeting with new and old business to follow, along with department reports, board and commission reports, the town manager report, clerk-treasurer’s report, and the town attorney’s report.

The Culver Town Council will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street.
