Unwanted Guest Call Results in Arrest of Plymouth Man

A Plymouth man was arrested Sunday, December 31 after officers from the Plymouth Police Department were called to the Red Rock Inn for a report of an unwanted guest.

Officers made contact with 49-year-old Chad Smith who had a warrant for his arrest. Officers also found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Smith was arrested for the active warrants, as well as preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a hypodermic needle.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
