Plymouth Man Arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated

A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday, December 30 after being found to be intoxicated while driving.

Plymouth Police Department officers received a report of a possible impaired driver headed east on Lake Avenue near Plum Street at about 12:38 a.m. ET. When officers arrived on scene, they found the vehicle left the roadway and hit a fire hydrant. The driver, 33-year-old Robert Warner Jr., was still in the driver’s seat with the engine still running. Police say Warner was extremely intoxicated and was transported to the hospital.

Upon completion of the investigation. Warner was taken into custody for operating his vehicle with a blood alcohol content over four times the legal limit, according to the report. Once he was cleared by the medical staff, he was taken to the Marshall County Jail where he faces preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering, operating a vehicle over .15 and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
