The Marshall County Council will meet tonight where the council will reorganize and make council appointments to start the new year.
Marshall County Highway Department Superintendent Jason Peters will discuss the Community Crossing Matching Grant and possible match funding for 2024.
The council will also review an ordinance that would establish a new Employee Benefits Fund, and look over and approve agreements for legal counsel and the council’s financial consultant. The council will also take action on the sheriff’s contract. Additional appropriations and transfers will also be discussed.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
