Culver Town Council Discusses Golf Cart Fees

The Culver Town Council members discussed golf cart fees during their regular meeting Thursday, January 25.

According to Town Manager Kevin Danti, the town council members discussed repealing the recent golf cart ordinance amendment that increased the fee to $100. Therefore, the fee would revert back to the previous $60 fee.

Council members Bill Cleavenger and Bill Githens thought that the fee should be reduced from $100 to $75.

Danti noted that the council listened to the concerns of the public and business owners who expressed concern and burden over the recent action to increase the fee to $100. A motion was put forth to keep the fee at $60. The motion was approved by a vote of 3-2 with Cleavenger and Githens opposed to the motion.
