The utility bills for the Town of Culver will soon have a different look.
Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim told the Culver Town Council members during the November 28 meeting that a new utility system being used will print a full paper bill with more details on them. The utility bill that went out in November will likely be the last time customers will see a postcard-type payment notice.
In other news, the council approved the purchase of a new street sweeper in the amount of $276,337, and the action to pursue potential financing for the equipment with a bond bank. Money has been set aside for at least a down payment on the street sweeper.
Additionally, the members agreed to hold the last council meeting December 28 at 6:30 p.m. ET since the last regular meeting would fall on a day the Town Hall is closed.
