Culver Community School Board Accepts Board Member Resignation

The Culver Community School Board members approved the resignation of board member Michael Pazin during their meeting Monday night.

Pazin has moved out of state and has also withdrawn as the Culver Community School Corporation baseball coach. 

Pazin served as an At-Large member on the Culver Community School Board and his term ends December 31, 2024. 

The school board is now seeking Pazin’s replacement. Applications are being accepted for the vacancy.  Applicants 21 years of age or older must be a qualified voter within the geographic boundaries of the corporation townships including Aubbeenaubbee Township in Fulton County, North Bend Township in Starke County, Tippecanoe Township in Pulaski County, or Union Township in Marshall County.   The applicant must have lived in the corporation boundaries for at least one year and not hold another full-time position with the Culver Community School Corporation.

Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume to Culver Community School Board President Jack Jones in care of the Administration Building or to Superintendent Karen Shuman at kshuman@culver.k12.in.us before 4 p.m. ET Wednesday, November 15.
