Several meetings are planned tonight in the Town of Culver.
The Culver Economic Development Commission will organize and the consider a resolution that would approve the creation of an Economic Development Target Area. That meeting is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. ET at the Culver-Union Township Public Library at 107 N. Main Street.
The Culver Unsafe Building Board will also meet at 5:30 p.m. ET at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street to hold a public hearing concerning a case at 815 East Akron.
Following that meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET, the Culver Town Council will meet at the Culver Town Hall where they will hear a request from Culver Storage Solutions for building permit fee relief. They will also have the second reading of an ordinance designating an area with the town as an Economic Development Target Area. A public hearing will be opened to take comment on an ordinance amendment that would increase registration fees for golf carts and then the first reading of that ordinance will be considered.
The council will get an update on The Dunes project and receive updates from Town Manager Kevin Danti, Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim, Town Attorney Jim Clevenger, and department heads.
