Local FFA Students to Compete at National Convention

Indiana has 100 students from across the state competing at the National FFA Convention next week in a variety of Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events.

Students will be competing in career leadership events such as Environment and Natural Resources, Forestry, Veterinary Science and Floriculture. Others will be competing in leadership development events such as Extemporaneous Public Speaking, Agricultural Issues Forum and Creed Speaking.

Locally, students from the Argos FFA Chapter will be competing, including Ellie Bollenbacher, Zayne Ruby, Hunter Davis, and Whitlee Singleton, who will be competing in Milk Quality and Products.

Students from the John Glenn FFA will be competing in Dairy Cattle Evaluation and Management.  They include Alisha Smith, Adin Daren, Grace Wade, and Nora Guseilla. 

The convention is in Indianapolis from November 1 to November 4.
