The Culver Town Council members unanimously approved the second and third reading of the appropriations and tax rate ordinance that adopts the 2024 budget.
According to the Notice to Taxpayers listing on the Indiana Gateway website, of the major funds, the General Fund is estimated at about $2.8 million, Local Road and Street at about $17,000, Motor Vehicle Highway at about $77,000, Park and Recreation at about $412,000, Cumulative Capital Development at $172,000, and American Rescue Plan Act Fund at about $346,000.
The total of all funds is just over $4.5 million. The estimated Civil Max Levy is just over $1.5 million.
There were no public comments during the hearing held during the council’s last meeting.
The Department of Local Government Finance will notify the town of the approval of the budget in December.
