The Culver Town Council will meet tonight where they will hold two public hearings.
The first public hearing pertains to an ordinance that amends fees or costs for the Culver Parks and Recreation Department. The ordinance focuses on pier slip fees. The second public hearing will address an ordinance for appropriations and tax rates for the 2024 budget.
The council will consider the first reading of those ordinances following the respective public hearings.
The council will also consider the first reading of an ordinance that designates an area within the town as an economic development target area.
A request will be presented by the Council of Churches, an update will be given on the Dunes project, and an appointment will be made to the Culver-Union Township Library Board.
Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim will have an update, as well as Town Attorney Jim Clevenger. Department heads will provide updates as necessary.
The Culver Town Council will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street.
