Marshall County Highway Department Superintendent Jason Peters updated the commissioners Monday morning on the progress of the county’s Community Crossings Matching Grant projects.
“Plymouth-Goshen from City Limits to U.S. 30 has been completed, Queen Road from U.S. 30 to 6th Road has been completed, and 10B Road from State Road 17 to County Line Road is to be determined. I would guess they would be starting within the next week or so.”
As far as additional paving projects, Peters said Muckshaw from 14th to State Road 10 needs to be striped along with the completion of shoulders.
The base is complete with surfacing to be done on King Road from 12B to south of 11th Road. Work there should be done this week including shoulders.
The base of the road on 13th from Olive to Pear has been milled with surface work and shoulders to be done this week.
Meanwhile, the Marshall County Highway Department has completed 57 miles of triple seal, as well as several miles of single seal projects. Paving should begin soon.
