The Marshall County Council members will meet today where they will hear from Tom McFadden about the Marshall County Regional Sewer District.
The council will also get a report from Sheriff Matt Hassel on the Commissary Fund.
The council will consider an ordinance on juror compensation, and another ordinance that addresses the establishment of new county funds.
The additional appropriations and transfers will be presented for approval.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 9 a.m. ET today in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
Following the regular meeting, the council will review the first reading of the Marshall County 2024 budget. They will look at each fund individually to review requests and cuts.
The public is welcome attend. The public hearing on the budget is set for September 14 with the adoption of the budget on October 12.
