The 26th Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County home will begin construction soon.
The groundbreaking for the next build is set for Sunday, August 20 at 2 p.m. ET at E. Center Street in Bourbon, with Faith First Fellowship Church Reverend Kenneth Cooke presiding. The public is welcome to attend.
The Town of Bourbon provided the property for the project which will be the fourth Habitat for Humanity home in Bourbon.
Volunteers will be working alongside the home owner, Kaycee Wagoner, and her family.
The projected completion time will be early spring 2024. The area high school Building Trades students have been asked to assist with the construction. Habitat for Humanity builds for families who have a housing need, willing to help build
their home and able to make an affordable monthly mortgage payment.
