The Culver Town Council members were updated last week on programs available with the Marshall County Council on Aging.
Executive Director Janis Holiday explained that a lot of programs and services are available to the residents of Culver.
One major program that the Marshall County Council on Aging is bringing back to the residents of Culver is the Meals on Wheels program. The program was available prior to the pandemic in 2020, but due to lack of volunteers and other barriers, it was disbanded.
Holiday said it is coming back through the Marshall County Council on Aging. Meals on Wheels is available to residents aged 60 and older who may be homebound, have nutritional risks, or who live alone and feel like cooking may not be a option for just one person. Hot meals are delivered Monday through Friday. For more information on the program, call the Marshall County Council on Aging at 574-936-9904.
