Two Marshall County Art Organizations Receive Grant Funding

The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) recently announced it has awarded several grants to art organizations throughout the state and two organizations received Arts Organization Support grants in Marshall County.

Heartland Artists was awarded a grant of $12,276 and the Wild Rose Moon was the recipient of $11,286.

According to the Indiana Arts Commission, Arts Organization Support grants provide annual operating support for the ongoing artistic and administrative functions of eligible arts organizations that align with the commission’s funding priorities.  The applicant does not request a grant amount. The grant amount is based on available funds, the number of eligible applicants, application score, the organization’s budget size (based upon the total cash revenue from the organization’s most recently completed fiscal year, minus capital), equity funding priorities, and budget size policy (IAC grant awards are no greater than 20% total revenue).
