Bremen Town Council Approves ARPA Plan Ordinance

The Bremen Town Council members adopted an ordinance this week that adjusts the American Rescue Plan Act plan for the Town of Bremen.

The town received $1,013,929.74 in the ARPA Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund. 

The town plans to use the whole of the amount for the provision of government services to extent of reduction in revenue, which may include, but is not limited to, maintenance or pay-go funded building of infrastructure, including roads; modernization of cybersecurity, including hardware, software, and protection of critical infrastructure; health services; environmental remediation; school or educational services; and the provision of police, fire, and other public safety services. Projects under this category are to be determined the Town Council, and this Plan shall be amended as needed to specify such agreed upon projects.
