The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today where they will hear from Debbie VanDeMark and her request for a moratorium on large solar projects.
Regional Sewer District member Tom McFadden will discuss items with the commissioners.
The commissioners will consider an appointment to the Plymouth Public Library Board, they will discuss an amendment with the ordinance that addresses approval and administration policy for grants, review a revised Cender Dalton agreement, and look at the 2023 Hazard Mitigation Plan. The commissioners plan to discuss the Courthouse project appropriation which was sent back to the commissioners by the Marshall County Council as the council members would like to see the appropriation of $137,017 come out of the LIT Fund, and consider a recommendation from the American Rescue Plan Act subcommittee for the Highway Department.
Highway Department Superintendent Jason Peters, County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Angie Birchmeier will present their regular reports to the commissioners.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet this morning at 9:30 a.m. ET in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
