The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today where they will receive updates on bridge projects and a resident will discuss road conditions.
The commissioners will also hear from Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Director Doug Masterson, Marshall County Historical Society Director Sandy Garrison, Public Health Nurse Sandy Dunfee, and Clerk Jenny Bennitt.
A grant request will be presented by the Marshall County Probation Department, and the commissioners will discuss an ordinance concerning the approval and administration policy for grants.
Annette Haining will discuss Remedy Live – Hope for Youth, and Brian Teall from the United Way of Marshall County will talk about Fund the Essentials.
An ordinance pertaining to Plan Commission permit fees will be discussed, along with an ordinance on the Title VI plan and policy.
A congressional school fund annual report will be given, and the commissioners will review the opioid abatement share for Project Hope, and an REMC fiber optic lease.
Highway Department Superintendent Jason Peters, County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Angie Birchmeier will provide regular reports.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today at 8:30 a.m. ET in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
