Indianapolis Woman Arrested Following Marshall County Stop

An Indianapolis woman was arrested Friday, June 23 after a traffic stop in the area of Veteran’s Parkway and Lilac Road in Marshall County. 

The traffic stop was conducted as the driver allegedly conducted several traffic violations.  During the investigation, police say the driver had a suspended driver’s license with prior knowledge.  Marijuana was found in the vehicle during a vehicle search, according to the report. 

The driver, 21-year-old Dai Beard, was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked on preliminary charges of driving a vehicle with a suspended prior license and possession of marijuana. 

The Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office will determine formal charges.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
