The Culver Town Council members were updated last week on the search for a new town manager.
Mitch Ripley from HR Unlimited Resources out of Sheridan, Indiana is assisting the town in the search. Town Council President Bill Cleavenger said last week that another applicant submitted interest in the position, but Ripley will not be available until sometime in July to look into the matter further.
Several applications have been submitted as the Town of Culver continues operations without a town manager. Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim has helped take on most of those duties in the absence of a manager, along with other town personnel and assistants.
Ginny Bess Munroe left the position at the end of March after serving as the town manager for almost two years. Munroe announced her resignation in mid-December of 2022.
