Plymouth Man Arrested on Suspicion of Impaired Driving

A Plymouth man was arrested Monday, May 15 after the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a call that someone wrecked a moped around 3:20 a.m. ET in the area of Olive Trail and 12B Road in Plymouth. 

An officer with the Culver Police Department was first to arrive at the scene where 46-year-old Brian Braden was found sitting on his moped.  Two Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies also arrived on scene. 

Police said it was believed that Braden was intoxicated.  He was transported to the hospital for treatment and examination and to take part in a chemical test, according to the report.  He was later arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of habitual traffic violator, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with an ACE of .15 or more, public intoxication, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. 

The Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office will determine formal charges.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
