Plymouth Police Department Responds to Two Battery Calls

The Plymouth Police Department recently responded to two separate battery calls that resulted in arrests.

Officers were called to the Red Rock Inn Saturday, April 22 at 6 a.m. ET for a battery that reportedly took place at the Days Inn.  Police say the female victim fled from the Days Inn to the Red Rock Inn to call 911.

After an investigation, the suspect, 46-year-old Griffin Sterling of Plymouth, was located at the Days Inn and arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery and trespassing.

In a separate incident April 24, Plymouth officers were called to conduct a welfare check on a victim of an alleged battery incident.  Officers found the female with visible injuries, according to the report. As a result of an investigation, police say an incident of domestic battery was determined and 43-year-old Christopher Williams of Plymouth was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery.

Formal charges will be determined in each case by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
