The Triton School Board took action this week to approve a supplemental stipend for the staff.
Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said an increase in enrollment and an increase in the cash balance allowed for the stipends. It is based on full-time equivalency.
“Teachers will receive approximately $1,000 gross, and if you work over six hours it’s $750,” explained Riffle. “If you work under six hours, it’s $500. If you work even less, it may be $250 all the way down to our crossing guards, who work a half hour each day, is $100.”
The stipends were approved as presented.
