North Judson Woman Arrested Following Incident in Plymouth

A North Judson woman was arrested Thursday, March 23 after the Plymouth Police Department looked into a 911 call in reference to a child attempting to get away from a person.

Officers arrived in the area of Western Avenue and Hoham Drive where a silver 2004 Chevrolet passenger car was found sitting on the west side of Western Avenue just south of Hoham Drive.  Police say the officer believed the car to possibly be involved in the case and pulled up behind the vehicle in an attempt to investigate the situation. The vehicle reportedly fled south on Western Avenue and through the Kroger parking lot.

After a short vehicle pursuit, the driver, 27-year-old Laura L. Peddicord, was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement, driving while suspended with a prior conviction, along with an active warrant through Marshall County.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
