Marshall County Treasurer Kelly Einspahr recently presented the commissioners with the spring and fall property tax collection extended times and dates.
The spring property tax collection deadline is Wednesday, May 10. Einspahr said the spring extended dates are Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to noon and Tuesday, May 9 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET in the Marshall County Treasurer’s Office.
The fall property tax collection deadline is Monday, November 13. The fall extended dates are Saturday, November 4 from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, November 9 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday, November 13 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET.
The Marshall County Building will be closed Friday, November 10 in observance of Veterans Day.
Einspahr noted that the Treasurer’s Office is typically open the Saturday prior to the fall collection date, but it falls on Veterans Day, November 11, so the Marshall County Building will remain closed due to the holiday.
The tax bills have not yet been mailed to residents, but the commissioners unanimously approved the extended dates and times as presented.
