Indiana State Police troopers are investigating a single-vehicle fatality accident in Marshall County that occurred Monday afternoon.
Troopers responded to the accident on U.S. 31 near 4A Road at approximately 4:30 p.m. ET. A preliminary investigation found that a white 2013 Dodge was traveling northbound on U.S. 31 when it reportedly ran off the road for an unknown reason and struck a concrete bridge abutment.
Life-saving measures were attempted by troopers, but the 35-year-old driver from Rochester was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.
