The Marshall County Council will meet tonight where they plan to discuss a joint council and commissioner meeting tentatively set for February 20, and consider rescinding a prior commitment to Blue Zones.
Ken Jones from engineering firm Jones Petrie and Rafinski will discuss the Regional Sewer District Board with the council, and Deb VanDeMark from the Marshall County Parks and Recreation Board will present a request for support of an additional appropriation.
Marshall County Community Corrections Director Ward Byers will have a request to apply for a Community Corrections grant, Christie Johnson from Marshall County Superior Court III Drug Court will ask to apply for a Problem-Solving Court grant and a Drug Free Community Grant, while Sheriff Matt Hassel will have a request to apply for the DNR Marine Patrol grant and present the biannual Commissary report.
The council will review transfer and additional appropriation requests, and establish a new fund.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
