Marshall County Commissioners to Meet Today

The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today where they will hold public hearings on several zoning ordinance changes including exemptions, T-1 setbacks, expiration, setback distance, and subdivision ordinance re-order. 

A public hearing will also be held concerning the Woolly Minor Subdivision.

Brett Lackey from CDM Smith will discuss the PEL Study on U.S. 30 and U.S. 31, and Lorraine Dove from the Town of LaPaz will talk about well water.

A representative from Marian University’s Ancilla College will request financial support for the READI Grant match, while Sheriff Matt Hassel will ask to apply for a DNR Marine Patrol Grant.

Treasurer Kelly Einspahr will present an agreement for consideration and ask to extend hours during the tax collection season.  Human Resources Administrator Jennifer Daake will present a revision to the employee benefits insurance monthly costs. 

The commissioners will also approve an appointment to the Argos Public Library.

Highway Department Superintendent Jason Peters, County Attorney James Clevenger, and Auditor Angie Birchmeier will have their regular reports.

The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m. ET today in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
