Argos Man Arrested on Suspicion of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated

An Argos man was arrested following an investigation by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department into a rollover accident Sunday, February 25.

Police say the Sheriff’s Department received a call just before 2:30 a.m. ET that a pick-up truck ran off the roadway and rolled in the area of U.S. 31 and U.S. 6. Officers found the truck that had come to rest near Maple Road.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the driver of the truck, 59-year-old Gregory A. Phillips of Argos, was under the influence, according to the report.  Phillips was arrested on preliminary misdemeanor charges of operating while intoxicated with BAC at or above .15, and operating while intoxicated – endangering. 

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
