The Marshall County Council members will meet for the first evening meeting of the year tonight.
The council will reorganize and appoint liaisons. Marshall County Superior Court No. 3 Judge Matt Sarber will discuss the 2023 Salary Ordinance, and Highway Department Superintendent Jason Peters will talk about the proposed funding for 2023 Community Crossings projects, local bridge preservation, and additional paving projects.
Health Department Administrator Faith Freed will ask to apply for a vaccination insurance reimbursement grant, and Lisa Letsinger from WIC will present a grant update.
Don Nunemaker will discuss a surplus tax study, Sheriff Matt Hassel will talk about the 2023 Commissary budget, and Marshall County Parks and Recreation Board members Greg Hildebrand and Adam Thada will present a request to apply for a Marshall County Community Foundation Grant to complete a project.
The council will consider an amendment to the Salary Ordinance, as well as a resolution concerning the LIT Special Purpose Fund.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) of the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
