The Marshall County Council reorganized when they met for the first time last week in the first evening meeting of the year.
Councilman Jesse Bohannon was unanimously chosen as Marshall County Council president while Tim Harman was unanimously chosen as Marshall County Council vice president.
The council members then appointed several people to boards and commissions including Ray Trump to the Argos Economic Development Board, Alyssa Overmyer to the Argos Public Library, Naomi Podelsack to the Plymouth Public Library, Deborah Johnson to the Marshall County Plan Commission, Maria Keller to the Alcoholic Beverage Board, Kevin Hines to the Lake of the Woods Sewer Board, Jesse Bohannon to MACOG, Keith Kline to the MCEDC Board, Mark Damore, Jr. to the Culver Economic Development Board, Mandy Campbell to the 4-H Board, Nicole Cox to the Emergency Management Agency, Jesse Bohannon and Tim Harman to Central Dispatch, Jim Masterson to the Solid Waste Board and Unsafe Building Board, Deborah Johnson to Local Emergency Planning, Adam Faulstich to Courthouse Security and Technology Committee, and Will Patterson to the Solar Taskforce and Community Corrections boards.
New subcommittees were formed. Tim Harman, Will Patterson and Nicole Cox will serve on the Job Classification subcommittee, Jesse Bohannon, Tim Harman and Deborah Johnson will serve on the Highway Department subcommittee, and Tim Harman, Jesse Bohannon and Adam Faulstich will serve on the Budget/Finance subcommittee.
