The Marshall County Commissioners took action to hire a new human resources administrator in a special meeting Wednesday morning.
Commissioner Michael Burroughs made the motion to hire Jennifer Daake with a second from Commission President Stan Klotz. Commissioner Kevin Overmyer was not in attendance, although it was noted that he was also in support of Daake’s hire. The motion was unanimously approved by Burroughs and Klotz.
Burroughs commented that Daake has been a valued employee of the county. She currently works in the Marshall County Auditor’s Office. She will begin in her new role Monday, January 16 even though it is a county holiday. Daake stated, “I’m excited to start this journey with Marshall County. It’s going to be a great trip!”
The commissioners thanked those who applied for the position.
