The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members heard from Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson about the solar project at the Plymouth Wastewater Department.
Davidson said the framework is done and the panels are installed. There are a few panels that still need to be put up where the meters will be placed. The conduits are also installed. The wiring will be pulled until after the holidays with the expected start-up in mid-January in coordination with the solar projects at the Washington Discovery Academy and Riverside Intermediate School.
Davidson reminded the commission members that the city does qualify for rebates on the project which could result in a total of $400,000 in reimbursements if everything qualifies.
