Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Raises Money for Ounce of Prevention

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department recently raised funds for breast cancer awareness in the Ounce of Prevention effort by selling t-shirts.  Sheriff Matt Hassel announced this week that the total amount raised is over $1,000 again this year.

Ounce of Prevention is a non-profit organization that increases awareness and provides support to Marshall County residents fighting cancer.

Hassel stated in a press release that the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department has participated in this fundraiser for several years with continued generosity from the community and hard work of the employees at the Sheriff’s Department.

A presentation of the funds will be made to Jennifer Houin with the Ounce of Prevention organization Tuesday, December 20 at 10 a.m. ET at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at 1400 Pioneer Drive in Plymouth.
