The last day the Marshall County Health Department’s free COVID-19 test site will be open is Friday, December 30.
The site has been open to residents for testing for two-and-a-half years. Officials will invite the Indiana Department of Health COVID-19 testing team to come to the site as needed in 2023.
If a COVID-19 test is needed, contact a medical provider or order free home kits online at https://www.covid.gov/tests. Some area pharmacies also offer COVID-19 test kits for sale.
Starting in January 2023, adult and children COVID-19 vaccines will be offered at the Health Department’s office at 510 W. Adams Street in Plymouth Tuesdays through Thursdays by appointment only.
Health officials urge residents to practice everyday precautions to stop the spread of germs: cover coughs and sneezes, wash hands often for 20 seconds with soap and water, eat a healthy diet, get fresh air, stay home when sick, avoid people who are sick, and stay current on recommended vaccines.
