The Bremen Town Council members considered a resolution this week that would deem an emergency service vehicle as surplus to be sold to the Town of Argos.
The resolution states that the Bremen Fire Department determined that a 2008 Chevrolet K25 Suburban vehicle is surplus property and should be sold. Fire officials and the Bremen Town Council previously agreed to sell the vehicle to the Town of Argos for $8,500 as is, but without radios.
Bremen Town Attorney Anthony Wagner noted that the Town of Argos would also have to review and approve the same resolution, if approved by the Bremen Town Council.
The council approved the resolution with a unanimous vote.
