Kick-off planning committee meetings have been scheduled to discuss what would best fit Marshall County if there are plans to make road and traffic changes on U.S. 30 and on U.S. 31.
The Indiana Department of Transportation is beginning Planning and Environmental Linkage (PEL) studies in those corridors and officials are looking for input from residents in this process in order to find long-term solutions for these areas.
Several county leaders are anticipated to be a part of the committee make-up as well as key stakeholders in those two corridors.
The U.S. 30 Planning Committee meeting is today (Monday, October 10) at 1 p.m. ET in Room 203 of the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
The U.S. 31 Planning Committee meeting is Monday, October 17 at 1 p.m. ET in Room 207 in the Marshall County Building.
