PLYMOUTH — Business Manager – Treasurer Valerie Moore, who will serve in full capacity after Kandi Tinkey retires at the end of the year presented the proposed budget for 2023 to the Plymouth Community School Corporation (PCSC) Board of Directors during the Public Budget Workshop Tuesday evening.

Moore reviewed proposals for the Debt Service Fund, Education Fund, Operations Fund, and the Rainy Day Fund.

Moore reported that a substantial increase in assessed property value of an average of 18% could very well result in more available funds to the district.

According to Moore, a link to see an itemized budget on Indiana Department of Government Finance / Indiana Gateway will also be shared on the corporation website at this time.

The public hearing on the 2023 budget will be held on Tuesday, September 20 at 6 p.m. at the Administration Building located at 611 Berkely St. The adoption meeting date is scheduled for Tuesday, October 4 at 7 p.m.
