A two-vehicle accident claimed the life of an Argos teen Saturday afternoon.
According to Marshall County Coroner John Grolich, the accident occurred at the intersection of U.S. 31 at 18th Road in Marshall County. He said 17-year-old Emily J. Carr, of Argos, was traveling eastbound on 18th when her vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle on U.S. 31.
The crash caused multiple injuries to several passengers who were transported to area hospitals for treatment, according to the report. Grolich said Carr died as a result of blunt force trauma.
The crash remains under investigation by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and the Marshall County Coroner’s office.
